It is made up of three sequences which can be done in isolation or in sequence, making up a whole fifty minute yoga practice. The first sequence is a very gentle Hatha Yoga class with movements that are soft, gentle and flowing, the aim of which is to gently warm up the body and stretch the muscles of the back, hips and shoulders, as well as easing lower back pain.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe following sequence is a stronger Hatha Yoga Flow which will help to alleviate fatigue and boost energy levels. Together we will practice pregnancy specific Sun Salutations that will build the stamina needed for birth and postnatal recovery, as well as strong standing postures to increase leg and lower back strength. By increasing strength and energy levels in this way, your body will be more able to support you and your baby and help you have the stamina for an active birth. We will then come down to the mat and work through a floor sequence that will help calm the body down again. Emphasis will be placed upon the breath throughout. The class concludes with a guided relaxation followed by Savasana. We will use props to support the body whilst resting, and lie on the left side as it is more beneficial for both mother and baby. Her style of yoga is from the lineage taught by her guru Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, whilst also weaving in elements of her background in Hatha Flow Yoga.  Also a Doula and mother, Sally has penned many articles for major publications and is the author of The Students Guide to Yoga Anatomy.
