The benefits of making are well documented. Losing yourself in the creative process is great for mental and physical wellbeing. So is yoga.
Throughout the Norwich Makers’ Festival, you can enjoy low priced taster sessions with various local yoga practitioners in The Forum’s Gallery.
Sat 16th Feb - 2-3pm
Workshop: Prop Yourself Up Yoga Workshop
Teacher: Alex Yoga
Duration: 60 mins
Location: The Forum, Norwich
Description: This workshop is primarily designed to show you what you can do with prop and when and how to use them. Come and try for yourself what feels good to you. We will use the 5 B's: blocks, bricks, blankets, belts and, last but not least, the breath. As your body gets comfortable, you can relax into safely exploring the posture. Over time, you will get a deeper practice and a better sense of wellbeing. Some experience of yoga is preferable but not essential.
